Lounge Daddy
From ThePolitico.com:
Amie Parnes reports from Lebanon, VA: Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra. "You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig." "You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink." "We've had enough of the same old thing." The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."
Edited September 9, 2008 by Lounge Daddy

Lounge Daddy
Obama's speech was being carried on CNN when he said that. RedState.com has the video right on their front page, along with the headline: "Obama courts the women's vote," and the comment "you stay classy, Mr Infanticide." Fox now has the story on their front page, too.

Sounds like typical Obama. These days, you can expect everything nonsensical from his decietful mouth.

The propositions and suggestions Obama has in mind for us will most definitely raise taxes - especially for his energy conservation plan. Hardly something that a presidential candidate should be blurting out toward an opponent. It's almost as if Obama was trying to one-up the sarky comment that Biden made earlier in the day: “There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick.” Expect the polling numbers to continue to reflect the Obama / Biden ticket. Lower and lower.
