KnightofChrist
The fact is Obama went to a low point calling someone a pig, or people pigs. He either called Palin a pig, McCain, or republicans. Which ever it is, it was a low down dirty thing to say, for a person running for president to say. God have mercy on John McCain if he ever said anything close to that, because all media hell would be set lose.

Obama, the greatest orator every known to man, used the lipstick comment at the wrong time. We just came out of a successful RNC where Palin was highly watched. Everyone has the lipstick joke on their mind. The mental connection is easy. Sorry for questioning The One's incredible skills in public speaking. The audience seemed to know that the reference was pointed at Palin--they began laughing and cheering as soon as Obama said the word "lipstick." If he really honestly didn't mean that comment, and the stinky fish comment that followed, to be directed at Palin--he was the only one in the room that didn't know what was coming out of his mouth. He's at the most a sexist bully. He's at the very least a clueless man with piss-poor judgment.
Lounge Daddy
Again, it's interesting to note that Biden made a similar, but far less offensive, statement earlier the same day: “There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick.” Use of the word "lipstick" must have been a talking point after Governor Palin's "pitbull / lipstick" comment at the GOP Convention. The comments are clearly aimed at Palin.

Or is that sexist
The difference, though, is that Obama used the phrase a week or so after Palin alluded to herself as a pit bull with lipstick... One week. And in the context of Obama's speech, "the pig" was "change." In McCain's example, there is no such previous reference to Clinton's lipstick. And "the pig" was her health care plan being dressed up... not her.

Why?
No... It's more like, if I were a Dallas fan and clearly saw that Dallas did something wrong, but insisted that they didn't, argued with the stripes, and screamed and yelled at how the Redskin fans were dishonest and that the Redskins are awful and bad sports and yet I was acting the same way. It's dishonest either way, whether you're talking about politics or football. And as Catholics we shouldn't just shrug our shoulders and say, "Oh well. Who cares? They are being dirty so I'll be dirty too."

We need more people who can make good, honest arguments against Obama without inserting made-up "facts" into their arguments! It isn't that hard so I don't see why people feel the need to go to fabrication..
