Yes. I like you. We need more people who can make good, honest arguments against Obama without inserting made-up "facts" into their arguments! :D It isn't that hard so I don't see why people feel the need to go to fabrication..
yes sir.

I didn't make up any facts, I simply used my God given reason and logic. Obama isn't real enough to admit what he and his running mate said was directed at Palin and it was wrong.

saying that he referred to Palin by the lipstick comment is foolish IMHO...it may even jeopardize McCain's chances (not by much though). who cares...that lipstick comment has been used before and we can't say for 100% sure that Obama meant to use it as a diss of Palin.

i support McCain but this garbage is unnecessary. people need to come off it.

I agree.

I respect the issues, I respect John McCain's stands on some of the issues, and I'd like to hear more about those issues.

For the time being, I motion that this thread be moved to the lame board.

LAME.

we are more of a mama\older sis bulldog with lipstick :)) than a pig! and what is so wrong with carrying a gun(as long as you know gun safety and are careful and certified)
who knows when a young man (or you never know woman  ) will make ill advancements to us and\or our children\siblings! We need to be able to protect ourselves

As far walmart they NEVER have anything i want so that is a non issue

guns don't kill people! People kill people with guns!

You appear to have what is known casually as "psychic syndrome"... you assumed I was talking to/about you when in reality my statement was general (this is also indicative of persecution syndrome). You assumed to know without a doubt that Obama meant to call Palin a pig, rather than the republican party's ideas. Assuming you know what goes on in other people's heads is generally viewed as a problem, not "God given reason and logic."
No... It's more like, if I were a Dallas fan and clearly saw that Dallas did something wrong, but insisted that they didn't, argued with the stripes, and screamed and yelled at how the Redskin fans were dishonest and that the Redskins are awful and bad sports and yet I was acting the same way. It's dishonest either way, whether you're talking about politics or football. And as Catholics we shouldn't just ♦shrug our shoulders and say, "Oh well. Who cares? They are being dirty so I'll be dirty too."
Did McCain call Obama a pig and I missed it?

If you don't think politicians or football teams take advantage of the other side's errors, you have not observed politics or football long enough. When the republicans fumble the ball, I assure there will be plenty on the other side pointing it out.

You must have stopped reading at the part where I expressed my disdain for the "well they do it too" excuse.

I wished I had not seen that. Will he ever exhibit an ounce of humility? He is so haughty and in love with himself. Why doesn't he apologize for using the saying and how he meant no disrespect to McCain (the old fish?) or Palin (the lipstick?)? No, instead, he blames McCain for what he said.

His audience knew what he meant. The initial reaction to most people who heard the story knew what it meant. It's only when people stopped and thought about it that many decided to give him a break. When he gives talks like that, I don't think he's sincere when he says it meant something else.

I am glad he wants to talk about education. How about the status quo in education he supports? How about the sex education he wants for kindergartners?

dude, I am NOT pro- Obama.

I just thought the fact that they actualylsaid that it is a political tactic was good. ...

I don't think he is sincere or humble but, it IS a political tactic on McCain's side, too.

Oh, I was responding to the video, not you. I was making points and asking rhetorical questions but they were not directed at you.
