Anyone Else Frustrated?

I just don't get it. Obama doesn't stand for much but what he does stand for is is appalling and if people realized that he supports murdering children that survived abortion, I think that they would also be appalled. I think that people would be appalled by the majority of things funded by the Chicago Annenberg Challenge the only leadership role in Obama's career. Oh yeah, he worked there with Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist. This does not even touch on the massive spending and socialization that Obama is proposing. Does McCain touch on this? No!

At the convention he stood there and challenged us to fight, fight with him.... What is going on?

Because he's incompetent?

Because he obsessed with bi-partisanship and he thinks making a case on the presidential campaign trail is the same as making a case in the halls of the senate.

McCain: Poor on form, good on substance. Obama: Good on form, poor on substance.

Agreed. Pity McCain's rallies are getting so hateful at points that he's being booed for saying Obama isn't a traitor...fortunately it's not been widespread.

If there was one man in this nation I thought would be worthy of the Presidency, it would be Colin Powell. If I had to go for a second choice, it would have been 2000 era McCain; back in his relative prime.

McCain rallies have some individuals who are angry and most who are frustrated. The sum of all the anger and frustration does not equal a thimble of the hate and anger on the left. They are the masters of hate. Here is a small sample. WARNING: Standard obscenities and disgusting images that accompany protests by the left present.

Colin Powell will never run. It's a wife policy. Best it be that way as I know I have parted ways with Powell on some issues.

the only thing i can think of is if he did fight Obama and expose him as we want him too I would think there would be major repercussions with the media or something who will stop him from doing so. With the media being so crazy and wild, maybe he doesn't want to ruin the little chance he has to overcome the media that is against him.

I don't know I hope they are able too and soon. If the media will not tell the truth, it is up to them to say it the best they can. People do not know what kind of future they are getting when voting for Obama, aside from a portrayed candyland image. :weep: The future is really scary!

Ya. And this is also the same McCain that decided to fight corruption in his own party by getting into bed with Ted Kennedy. I do think that he is either incompetent, as fidei defensor said; or he doesn't seriously want to win the election.

One of McCain's problems is that he tends to get lampooned and criticized for having a temper, a screw loose, and coming across as an angry old man. ("Vote for me. Now get off my lawn!")
He is probably following political advisors suggestions to not be "too aggressive" because he has a reputation for being too volatile. I don't know to what extent this is accurate, but he's in a bit of a Catch-22 situation there. Mostly, though, he is in the unfortunate position of being the Republican ticket after 8 years of a Bush presidency with low approval ratings.

So he seems to be at a loss as far as what he can do, and in some respects he is giving up. Deep down, I think he knows that in all likelihood he is not going to win this election. There, I said it.

For a long time now I've had a theory that I haven't really shared with anyone because it's largely a strong sense I have but I can't back it up any other way. But it is what you said: I don't think he cares if he wins. I believe he's a liberal in a Republican's clothing, he was NOT chosen by the Republican voters in America (he was just the last man standing after all the others dropped out one by one), and he is barely even running a campaign. He has also done little or nothing in favor of his VP running mate as she's been crucified in the media and in the Obama campaign. Not only does McCain not fight for himself, he doesn't fight for anyone else around him either. There is something very, very wrong with the way he's been running his campaign--I started having this sense before Palin ever came along. I know this sounds crazy but it's almost like McCain's sole purpose is to ensure that Obama wins.

This is all true and it feeds into my theory: he never should have run for President in the first place. He's laughable has a candidate. If even Republicans can't get excited about voting for him, why on earth would anyone else vote for him. Look, this man has to look in the mirror and know that he's not Presidential material and he BARELY stands a chance to win. It's scary to think of, but McCain just seems like a plant to me.
