He said he wanted to go to Winnipeg, but had never been there, and didn't know anyone there. He told them he was a college student in Missouri, but wanted a 6 month visa. He said he had never been arrested, but they were able to pull up convictions for theft and assault. When asked why he lied, he said he was innocent. They said, "but you pleaded guilty." He says, "but I was innocent." They went back and forth on that one for quite a while. He got aggressive. They threatened to call the Mounties. He got refused, but wanted to know when he could try again, and they said next shift. So he got dropped at the truck stop, and was going to try the next bus. I think they thought he was on the run from something. The worst part, was that I was in line after him. She was very angry when I came to the window, and I thought she was going to strip search me when she couldn't get Austin on the phone to vouch for me.
