I don't know what post you are referring to, but I've tried to examine this election from an unbiased perspective, particularly as it pertains to the B.S. that is lobbed at both candidates. This phorum has had more than its share of that cr@p, but I love ya'll anyway.

No need to get all :annoyed: about it.

That would be the post where you said that Obama was a Christian to my saying he wasn't on the "Is Obama a Muslim" Thread.

I am glad you voted for life. It was the most important thing.
I feel like I sold out today. I don't like McCain and don't think he'd be a better President. But he's pro-life...
You did the right thing. But as for even intending to vote for a pro-abortion candidate when there's a pro-life candidate available, well, even intending to commit a sin is sinful itself. Now, I don't know whether the issue here would be absolute intent to do what is wrong or mere temptation. I don't always know where the boundary is myself (probably because I'm sometimes scrupulous). I'm sorry if that offends you, but it's the truth, and the truth hurts.

He wasn't annoyed. He said nothing in a mocking or mean manner. Chill out people! Whatever the result is, the next four years aren't going to be easy. But, really, we need to stop worrying and TRUST. Obama may be evil. Maybe the US needs a wake up call. We've become naive and lukewarm when we started out as already arrogant and ignorant, really. If Obama is elected, perhaps it will be a real wake up call. (A *REAL* call to/cause for Change...)

Romans 8:28 "But we do know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose."

God will not desert us whatever the result of the election. I pray that it is good, but know that even if it causes much terror and wrong, then God will somehow work through it to bring good. We must hope and we must trust.

He didn't vote for Obama. And temptation is not sin. Especially temptation that is overcome.

I couldn't tell whether or not it was merely temptation. I know very well temptation isn't a sin. But the line between temptation and actually intending to sin can be quite blurry.

I apologise for not being chill about it. His choice of words made me think he was annoyed. It is the vibe I got.

 back on topic please :)
The woman at the table was really nice to me when she took my little slip of paper. And I sneezed and the guy in front of me said, "Bless you." They were nice. A very good voting experience. And when I went to fill out the paper I had to print my name, but I didn't read that part and so I marked it out and re-wrote it. And they were cool with that. Very nice people.

EDIT: And mom and I went together (she voted for the first time ever) and the guy let me skip him in line so I could be with mom... how sweet.

I tried to see what Republicans were For and who Opposed Abortion... but my stupid little paper wouldn't tell me so I voted all republican.

a little drama in Wisconsin. Apparently Obama campaigners were passing out voter registration forms to people on the streets in Racine, WI. The city clerk caught them, so the GOP is now deciding whether or not to contest it. Speculation is that up to 1000 forms were passed out.

I just waited for 90 minutes with my wife and 2 and a half year old to vote. The other district at the polling station had no line...
