There is a difference between misspeaking and not haveing a clue. When John McCain claimed that Shia Iran had strong ties with Al-Quaida and had to be corrected, several times, by Liberman people gace him the benefit of a doubt, like people gave Obama the benefit of a doubt, and like they gave Sarah Palin. That is they gave it to her untill time after time is became evident she had no idea what she was doing.

Trust me, I dislike Obama as much as the next guy (and for the record, it's just OBama, he's not an Irishman), but you guys can't argue that Palin is am ingenious woman and political wondergal.
A good person? Maybe. Honorable for her work against abortion and for the handicapped? Sure.
But I really hope she doesn't run in 2012. I'd prefer a conservative with a bit more...substance.

How do you know he misspoke? Not knowing that there are only 50 states in the US (as opposed to the Arab states which have 57) is being pretty clueless.
So fox news reported that fox news ran a false story?
Your side tells me that all the time. Just taking your advice.

Seriously, Fox reported what they heard, but hearing something doesn't make it truthful. Let the coward, I mean accuser, come forward and make their claims.
Let's pretend for a moment that Cameron's story was just something made up, would that make Sarah Palin a rhodes scholar? No. Watching her be interviewed it is clear she does not know what she is doing.
I have read and heard many stupid things said by "the upper academia." (Make sure to raise your nose when you say that.) Maybe William Ayres would make a better VP. He is a professor. (Raise nose again.)

Interviewing skills improve with time. As much as I love Aaron, it's Moses that carried the real content, the Law.

I agree. Thanks. I usually get blasted by people when I say this.
Let's start with, "she did not know what the Bush Doctrine was".
Neither did Charlie Gibson. And why would they? There has not been a single definition of it. Even the writer who first coined the term said there are multiple definitions.

I think the obvious problem is the McCain people attacking Palin. And some might make the claim that their failure to prepare Palin for those interviews might be called sabotage.

The controversy over Palin relies more on gossip and illogical ideas. The liberal media went after her and now McCain aids are looking for a scapegoat.

Nearly every attack on her has been refuted or lacks credibility. Most of the attacks are wishy washy ideas that can be sufficiently explained. At this point, Biden has made equitable mistakes as Palin but he has not gotten near the coverage. Why? Because he is the VP of the THE  ONE.

This just shows that the attacks on her lack real punch and are smear tactics. Now if Palin cited Article 1 when she should have cited article 2....we would never hear the end of it.

"insiders say"
"McCain aids say"
"McCain aids will argue"

etc. etc. etc.

He even admits "anecdotes all." Anecdotal evidence as a rule is next to worthless and almost always overrated.

Please get me some real sources. "Carl Cameron rips Sarah Palin" =/= "Fox News rips Sarah Palin." That would be like saying the Devils are great at hockey when in fact only Martin Brodeur is good at hockey. Cameron is one person. He hardly reflects the entire network.

I'm more than ready to admit that Sarah Palin is not ready for national office if somebody gives me actual evidence. I'll already concede that Palin doesn't have a lot of experience--she has more than Obama obviously, but that's not exactly saying a whole lot.

Point being, I'm not some conservative clone (unlike some people here on PM, admittedly.) It would not shatter my world if a politician let me down (again). But your debate tactics are either dishonest or just plain naive. Do you really think it's a coincidence that a woman with an 80% approval rating in the state of Alaska hits the national scene with enormous popularity from the right, and even some supporters on the left who wanted Hilary? then suddenly she becomes the object of media slime for weeks upon months, and now her national perception is in the gutter to everybody aside from most of the conservative base?

This should tell you that people's opinions are influenced by media antics more than they are influenced by any arguments of substance.

Regardless, your video told me nothing. With what your video told me and 25 cents, I can buy a gumball.

Enjoy.

I'd love someone to honestly tell me this individual was competent to be a congressional aid much like Vice President.
Well, if it comes to lack of basic civics understanding... The courts don't get that they are not legislators...
