I second that!
Let's start with, "she did not know what the Bush Doctrine was".
There are actually four Bush doctrines and Charlie Gibson didn't even get it right when he mocked her as he tried explain what he was talking about. Hassan I can't believe that you don't know that. Really!

Sady, he thinks that women have a right to kill their own children. The man's abortion ideology is monstrous and inhuman.
The buzz was, McCain's first choice was Leiberman, but insiders pushed him towards Palin. Rumors and rumblings were that the RNC told him states would walk out. Apparently McCain and Palin barely spoke to each other on the campaign trail. Overall it was probably not a very unified campaign from the get go.
I believe this. This is the theory I think makes the most sense in the face of reality. Based on the reputation he has from the Hill, I was shocked when he "chose" a woman.

Sweeeeeeeet.

And something else no one wants to talk about or admit to...America is FULL of people who think Africa is a country. They know of countries like Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria, but they don't know that they are IN AFRICA. In fact, I would bet my last long dollar that the news of Palin's gaffe, and the subswquent video, was actually a learning lesson for lots of lots of Americans. You can bet they were sitting in their living rooms, watching Sarah Palin get mocked and derided, going "Wait, you mean Africa's NOT a country???"

Well, Kenya is Obama's "ancestral homeland" after all. (rolls @@ eyes). I ACTUALLY heard a newscaster say that. It's like this man isn't half white, doesn't have an entire white ancestry, and wasn't raised by white grandparents.

At the school where I teach I have had kids transfer in from public school as seniors and not be able to find California on a map.
McCain should have chosen someone else to run as president for the Republicans.
maybe you are right! On the other hand after 8 years of Bush (who we know the media loves) I would of been surprised if a Republicans won! though that since McCain was running against such a far left liberal you also could say that they really did not want another Bush(which personally I don't get but..whatever)
but they would vote anybody that did not resemble Bush in any way!

this race one could speculate (and that is it!!) that the Republicans knew that it would ve been a "miraculous"thing if they won so maybe their tactic was to "introduced" a new conservative woman into the spotlight. Worse thing-they would lose which even if McCain picked some one a little more known it would not have mattered. Best-Republicans win! Either way they are introducing a conservative woman into the spotlight. Palin has alot to offer (even if she does not make it into the Oval Office) She is very Pro life and Pro Family. I agree that Palin needs to brush up in several areas however in time will we then can tell. Though I think Palin did the best job she could.
pax~

EDIT: I am assuming you mean Vice President.

Well, if a lot of Californians had their way it wouldn't BE on our map. It would be on Mexico's map.
