Dust's Sister
If your parish has Adoration for a lot of hours of the day, I suggest that you go visit our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. This past week I have went and visited our Lord at least for 15 minutes of the day. Most of the time it was between 30 minutes to an hour. So far I have felt at more peace with my life and troubles. I feel more confident and more Holy. I feel I want to be a saint. I want to be closer to God. I feel the graces coming into me. I've also said the rosary for 6 days in a row. Even though it takes me 30 minutes to say the rosary I've tried my best to have patients with it. Jesus is remarkable. To visit his true presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament is a true blessing. Go visit Him today! Edited November 9, 2008 by Dust's Sister

See how good He is! He accommodates Himself to our weakness. In Heaven, where we shall be glorious and triumphant, we shall see him in all His glory. If He had presented Himself before us in that glory now, we should not have dared to approach Him; but He hides Himself, like a person in a prison, who might say to us, "You do not see me, but that is no matter; ask of me all you wish and I will grant it. " He is there in the Sacrament of His love, sighing and interceding incessantly with His Father for sinners. To what outrages does He not expose Himself, that He may remain in the midst of us! He is there to console us; and therefore we ought often to visit Him. How pleasing to Him is the short quarter of an hour that we steal from our occupations, from something of no use, to come and pray to Him, to visit Him, to console Him for all the outrages He receives!" "...When we are before the Blessed Sacrament, instead of looking about, let us shut our eyes and our mouth; let us open our heart: our good God will open His; we shall go to Him, He will come to us, the one to ask, the other to receive; it will be like a breath from one to the other. What sweetness do we not find in forgetting ourselves in order to seek God! The saints lost sight of themselves that they might see nothing but God, and labor for Him alone; they forgot all created objects in order to find Him alone. This is the way to reach Heaven."

Saint John Bosco "Do you want our Lord to give you many graces? Visit him often. Do you want him to give you few graces? Visit him seldom. Visits to the Blessed Sacrament are powerful and indispensable means of overcoming the attacks of the devil. Make frequent visits to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and the devil will be powerless against you."
We frequently should pray the Holy Rosary and visit the Most Blessed Sacrament... Within and subject to the society of the Church, the pillar and ground of the truth, and anchored in devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar and Our Lady. There's only one catholic parish in the small town where my secular college is located at and they have only offered eucharistic adoration once the entire time that I've been here and this is my second year here. mcts
we have it once a month from the end of 9:30 mass until 5:30 during the even numbered months and 4:30 on the odd numbered months (we have a weird mass schedule that changes, and during the odd numbered months, we have mass at 5:30)
