Giolla
most non-denominational churches are pretty anti-truth. Mormons, 7th day Adventist, Jehovah's witness, Southern Baptists, Westboro Church, Presbyterian. I think Anglicans and Lutherans are the least of the anti-Catholics. HisChildForever
Fundamentalists - like a lot of those who believe the rapture and how the Vatican is Babylon.
doe-jo
The SDA's are pretty anti-catholic also. I read parts of the book that Ellen G. White (founder) wrote about Catholicism a couple of years ago. I think the title of the book is The Great Controversy.
CatherineM
I have a brother who is Worldwide Church of God. We don't discuss religion at all. It's the only way we can be in the same room together.

MithLuin
Uh, guys...this thread was 6 years old. Any reason to bring it back from the dead?! I think that individuals within any of those faiths can be very respectful and accepting of Catholics, just as they can be very beligerently anti-Catholic. I don't like painting with broad strokes. I taught SDA kids at a Catholic school, and never heard them say anything disrespectful of the Catholic faith in religion class. And this was in an inner city school, where disrespectful comments in general were quite common! Likewise, I've had good friends who were pretty fundamentalist, but just encouraged people to go to church in general, so while they invited people to come to their church, they would be just as happy to point someone who wanted to go to a Catholic church in my direction to attend with me. So....it's not so clear cut. If you're going to point out who and what is anti-Catholic, it is better to refer to specific writers. As much as the Lutherans are 'institutionally' anti-Catholic, they loose more of their venom on the ELCA/Missouri Synod debates within their own denomination!
