This is probably in the wrong section, but hey.

Just curious... Personally, my worship style is more subdued then anything. I like to use my journal to write to God. I write worship poems or songs for Him. I also play the guitar and piano...actually used to do it for the worship team when I was a Protestant.

What about you guys?

Like you, I tend to be subdued and quiet, but I love to sing. I really enjoy P&W stuff, but there is nothing better than silence. I m the kind of person that is happiest just sitting or kneeling in front of the tabernacle, not really thinking about anything, sometimes crying. It's a release for me.

i like the kneeling.

it might sound silly, but i feel like my prayers are heard better on bended knee. lol.
no, I really just like quiet time to talk with god.

I tend to be more on the subdued side too. In adoration I like to sit off to the side leaning up against a wall, it makes it seem more like I'm hanging out with Jesus or something. Although a fair amount of the time I don't really say anything... I just sit there gazing at the tabernacle.

Journaling is nice too.

I didn't vote, because I honestly worship in all of the ways you posted, and in other ways. Probably my favorite, though, would be taking walks with God. I just take a walk and pray, turn off my cell phone, don't tell anyone where I'm going, and since I walk where there are no people, it really turns into a nice little retreat. But in all honesty, how I worship depends what mood I'm in to worship, I guess. Although I do have to ask here, by worship do you mean strictly worshipping or prayer in general?

It can mean both, really :)

And I love to take morning walks and pray the rosary ^_^ There's a little street I love to walk down that's always quiet. I go there to get away from everything and just talk to God.

that sounds so peaceful... ^_^

I used to pray whilst riding my bike to work, but it was a pretty short ride so it didn't allow for much praying.

It is ^_^ My favorite way to spend time with Him. Though I love to gather with friends and sing

I voted for everything except dancing, although I can admit to dancing at a few praise-and-worship gatherings several years ago during college. But, then, come to think of it, I guess I've joined in the dancing at Catholic youth gatherings more recently... all of the above then!

Too bad I can't change my vote. I'd be the only dancer... wouldn't be the first time.

I am more for the quiet kneeling type but different situations can call for different types. In church I think it should always be quiet however if it at a youth function (not in Church or for Holy Mass) then bring out the guitars and do the clapping! :))

That is so cool! I like singing at Mass

My grandmother and great-grandmother were also church soloists, so it's probably genetic. Their middle names were Cecelia, the patron saint of church musicians, so I suspect the family has been singing for awhile.
