johnnydigit
I didn't vote, because I honestly worship in all of the ways you posted, and in other ways. Probably my favorite, though, would be taking walks with God. I just take a walk and pray, turn off my cell phone, don't tell anyone where I'm going, and since I walk where there are no people, it really turns into a nice little retreat. But in all honesty, how I worship depends what mood I'm in to worship, I guess. Although I do have to ask here, by worship do you mean strictly worshipping or prayer in general?
same here! in Mass - quiet, kneeling, mostly separated, if not with friends. family would be cool if they came to Mass with me =/ Gregorian chant Latin High Mass is existential. reverential gestures like full bows in unison are nice. outside Mass - rocking out at Christian concerts. praise and worship at Bible study. practicing guitar alone, or with friends. solemn adoration with solemn hymns before/after. snowboarding. while on the lift, soaking in the beautiful white scenery. doing a Rosary on the lift or at the summit.. listening to my favorite songs on the lift.. Rosary walks.. outside, in a park, or in the church looking at all the images if it's not a distraction to others. driving on long trips. Rosaries while driving on short trips. pretty much all of the above, except dancing. maybe jumping up and down with friends at concerts, but that's all. EAnn246
I love to talk to God when I'm driving to work in the morning. I used to do the same thing when I'd drive back to school after a weekend/break at home. It always feels good to me to talk to Him outloud. Other than that, I'm a big journaler, singing, spending quiet time with Him, taking walks, prayer time with friends, reading, etc.
Love for life.
Even at praise and worship events I still want to go home and just kneel quietly to pray. I like kneeling because it feels more reverent and sometimes penitent (depending on the kneeler lol). I put down bowing, but that's more out of respect than anything else. Writing and quiet contemplation go together for me. I usually journal about my spiritual life and then write a prayer about what I just journaled. Rosary walks can be so beautiful! In The Arms of The Lord
I would say kneeling, writing, and contemplation. I enjoy saying prayers on my knees with my Rosary, and sometimes I write my feelings, if I can find the words. I know my heart is always praying, even though not all the time do I know what it's saying, but I take comfort in knowing that the Lord holds my heart and He will always understand me and know what i'm feeling. I know that praying isn't so much the words as it is the heart and soul that is calling out to the Lord. Sometimes there is just no words to express or explain how you feel, or what you feel you have to say. I enjoy being alone with God, to be aware of His presence, to have the feeling of being consumed in His love, and to spend that precious quiet time in His arms where I feel so safe, calm, and at peace. fides quarens intellectum
This is a tough question for me because we were taught in the convent that the Church only recognizes two forms of worship: the Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours. Therefore, i couldn't say i have my own worship style, since the Mass and LOH are not about me. However, other than CCC 1067-70, which doesn't explicitly come out and say so, i don't have a source to back this up. Sorry, but i'll have to look further some other time. They might also be considered the only two types of public worship since adoration, rosary etc are private devotions, where as the liturgy by its very nature is public. I said kneeling and silent/contemplative. Those are my two ordinary forms.

Every time I attend Mass, it seems I find myself crying over this hymn, or crying over this reading, or crying as I walk up to receive, or crying as I return to my seat to pray in thanksgiving. I do this while praying at home or at Adoration, too. I just want to know that I'm not the only one who does this! (And I do this even when I'm not pregnant, so, I know it's not just my hormones right now.)
