Nihil Obstat
I'll post my own testimony later on.
I really feel a sense of the beauty of life and Creation. Without faith, everything would seem entirely pointless to me, from what I can imagine knowing my own personality. A more... Christocentric worldview (and universal view) makes things make sense. Not only do they make sense, they take on an inherent, perfect dimensions. Things in life seem REAL not in the sense that they merely exist, but that they have actual meaning!
Fr. Antony Maria OSB
Having a sense of peace, even in the most difficult times, knowing that no matter what, God is there with you, and any time you want (granted there's a church with perpetual adoration) you can go see Jesus. The whole thing with Jesus coming and being physically within us every time we receive the Eucharist is also just plain AWESOME!
LouisvilleFan
Catholicism is a truly personal relationship with Jesus Christ, encountering him in so many ways and through so many devotions and fellow saints, most especially in Reconciliation and Holy Communion. It's real... and it's messy... imperfect relationships overflowing with love are real and messy.
Apotheoun
I love the fact that I can worship the Father, through the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and in the process participate in the uncreated light and glory of the Tri-hypostatic God. Era Might
I love the lives of the Saints. No Saint is like any other Saint, and yet they are all united in the same faith and the same love for Christ. And as Mother Angelica would say, "we're all called to be great Saints." Didacus
I like the beauty of selflessness and sacrifice that comes from a love of others that exceeds the love of self.
tinytherese
What I like is that we are a family. God as our Father, Mary as our Mother, and the saints as our brothers and sisters. Jesus is also our brother. The eucharist is heaven on earth and the beauty of the mass and all of its dimensions... We are set firm in a solid foundation with the guidance of the magisterium. cmotherofpirl
Its the only logical and rational answer to life, the only one to make sense of the universe. Without Christianity, life is pointless. And since Christ only founded one Church, if you want to be a christian you become Catholic.
MithLuin
I like that I can go anywhere in the world and celebrate mass with total strangers...who aren't so strange, since we have a common appreciation for the Eucharist and common faith, even if not a common language. The Church is universal - thanks be to God! There are many other things I like about being Catholic (after all, most of the time, I'm home), but that is one that always impresses me greatly when I travel. kenrockthefirst
The Communion of Saints, those who have gone before us and those who are with us. The sharp relief that the hour spent in Mass throws the rest of week into.
