No, it ran fine during installation and while playing around with it initially, considering I only have an on-board video card. Then I changed some of the memory settings hoping to improve its performance, but apparently had the opposite effect, probably because VirtualBox is looking for video memory my sistem doesn't have.

Well, two versions for the industrialized-nation home user.

Seems a lot of the really cool stuff in Windows 7 requires a touch screen, but I hadn't noticed the much-improved calculator with financial functions talked about in one of Gizmodo's articles.
