YES I AM!

They hardly had a thing to do with the Canadian election, and next to no mention of the near (and still possible) fall of the government.

The inauguration was never intended to be the public spectacle it has become. Much like the State of the Union Address was never meant to be a campaign speech.

To pretend history isn't happening is to stick your head in the sand. I think he is unqualified to be POTUS, but I respect the office he holds. I am proud to watch the orderly transfer of power from one party to the next, the fact we have done it 43 times is amazing in itself, and in this world a miracle. May God change his heart.[/quote]
Agreed, agreed, agreed.
We watched it throughout 3rd, 5th, and 6th periods today. It was very interesting to see, and cool to be part of history in the making (I don't care if that is really clichée, today if ever deserves it).
I do not approve of many of the things this man intends to do, but he, by way of his office, has my respect and support during this beginning of his regime.
I do not hold the position of Speaker of the House or Vice-President in nearly as high esteem, however, which is why I had no problem voicing my disdain about those positions and the people that fill them.

If this was a sin-auger-ation, then so were Bush jr.s, Clinton's and Bush sr.'s. And no, i did not, nor would ever vote for Obama, but to act like the POTUS's who came before him were such great men and he's evil is going overboard.

I don't think anybody's acting like past Presidents were the greatest things since sliced bread.

I believe that gets signed tomorrow. Sure, we know it's going to happen, but the inauguration consisted of him being sworn in, giving a speech, and being addressed as 'Mr. President' - pretty inocuous stuff.
