That's what I'm using to dye a tae-kwon-do belt. It's supposed to be pink when I'm done.

So far it seems to be going ok, aside form the fact that it's taking forever to soak.

At college I live in a suite with some other girls and last year one of them was very fond of a particular hot sauce. One of the other girls secretly put kool-aid into it as a prank. That girl complained about how terrible the hot sauce had gotten but kept using it on her food anyway. Kool-aid and hot sauce don't mix, just so you know.

Tae kwon doe? I'm a junior black-belt.

One time in college my roommate was being an idiot so I unscrewed the shower head and poured a couple of packets of Kool-aid in it then screwed it back on. When he got out of the shower he was blue. It was pretty funny.

My dad and I once put Kool-aid in the shower head in the rectory. The church secretary let us in. I think my dad had something on her because she was always letting us pull pranks on the priests or nuns.

ooh nice. I have sibs ranging from an orange belt to a green belt (last I checked.) My 3 year old sister is convinced she's a pink belt, thus the kool-aid dye. I had to make it official. :topsy:

I always get Rit dye... I've used it a couple times to fix things I've accidentally bleached, or things that I just want to change. Usually works pretty well.

Are you dying it pink in case someone forgets their own belt?
My karate sensei tells a story from when he was training that if a student forgot their belt, his own sensei had a pink one handy to make them wear instead.

 that's hilarious. I'll bet the little girls liked that.

This particular pink belt was for my 3 year old sis. She's convinced that's her ranking :topsy:
