There are passages in the New Testament which speak to this issue. How relevant to people think hair length is today?
Spiritually, completely irrelevant. Aesthetically, dependent upon the individual's bone structure, hair type/color and overall style. -Katie

It's an issue that's been relevant to me just lately! But I know that not everyone considers it so. There are many more important things.

In what way has it been relevant to you lately? Did you come across it and start having questions? -Katie Btw, don't feel that you're questions aren't important, all questions are!

In Eastern Churches many (perhaps most) deacons, priests, and bishops have longer hair.

If my husband's hair gets more than a couple of inches long, it sticks straight up and takes on mad scientist look. That's not a good look for a well know schizophrenic. I make sure he keeps it short. I think it is a personal decision. It depends on what looks good for your type of hair, and your station in life.

I like the mad scientist look. Although right now, I look more like a scientist who's mad.

My husband has not cut his hair since August 2007...I gave up trying to get him to cut it a long time ago.

I agree that it has little or no relevance. :idontknow:

Some of my church members think it has some biblical support.

I was also asking because I have just gotten my first real severe haircut!
