Wolf
There are passages in the New Testament which speak to this issue. How relevant to people think hair length is today?

Aesthetically, dependent upon the individual's bone structure, hair type/color and overall style. -Katie
Wolf
It's an issue that's been relevant to me just lately! But I know that not everyone considers it so. There are many more important things.

Did you come across it and start having questions? -Katie Btw, don't feel that you're questions aren't important, all questions are! Apotheoun
Most men in Semitic cultures had long hair in Biblical times.

Wolf
It was a passage in Ephesians, I think. Will need to look it up.
CatherineM
If my husband's hair gets more than a couple of inches long, it sticks straight up and takes on mad scientist look. That's not a good look for a well know schizophrenic. I make sure he keeps it short. I think it is a personal decision. It depends on what looks good for your type of hair, and your station in life. I agree that it has little or no relevance.
Wolf
Some of my church members think it has some biblical support. I was also asking because I have just gotten my first real severe haircut! Galloglasses' Alt
It's down to culture, but in general men usually don't have long hair or prefer short hair in most societies.
