MIKolbe
Gosh it kills me to that scar on the chest of such a little one. Thank God everything went well. I'm sure she'll heal fine. She is young, she'll recover well, and grow up to be beautiful. Grace and peace to you and your family Jay.
I know what you mean, Kafka... On the bright side, the Dr. said because she is so young, it will look like a very very thin line when she grows up. It looks worse now because it is so new, and because it is actually glued together. The glue with come off as she heals. If feels like glue from a hot glue gun. The lower dermis is sewn and those sutures will dissolve, but the top epidermis is glued.. i forgot the name 'derma-glue' or something like that. She is supposed to come home today, but Shea called at 11pm and said she had a slight fever of 100.8... I don't know if they can release someone with a fever or not.. I will find out shortly. MIKolbe
Just a quick update. Addison is doing VERY well, and will be home Saturday. She is eating much better, and we were able to get Peyton in to see her. They were both really excited to see one another. Thank you all for your prayers. I know how my girls are and they'd be terribly upset if they weren't allowed to see one another.

littleflower+JMJ
I am SO happy for everything working out.. God is so good! You have a really tough cookie there! Addison is amazing. Everyone in your family is so brave...especially Peyton! I"m so glad you guys made it through this because this really was a big cross. God bless your family! Thank you for sharing it with us...to see God's hand at work is inspiring and very touching. I have to agree right now with Icey about Peyton's school praying for her baby sister. I think that is why Catholic school is the best investment a person can make! God listens to the prayers for the little children before anyone else. And He heard!
