No biggie. We have digital tv for communication. According to the Federal Government, it is an entitlement. Therefor the government can simply tell us all to form single lines at the FEMA camps via the digital tvs that they made sure everyone has. See, it makes sense.

Other things that may have made sense include:
Animal Farm
1984
Logan's Run and any other number of socially "responsible" plans.

May I remind you that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

It would be nice if the digital converters actually worked well. I am very tired of fragmented people.

Glenn Beck was on Fox & Friends. He mentioned this story. He said he had his staff try and debunk the story, because he doesn't want to believe that our government is doing this.

He can't debunk it. Everything indicates that our government is really doing this and trying to keep it as quiet as possible.

Of course they don't have to keep it too quiet. No one wants to believe that the government is bad. And no one wants to believe in evil.

Something is coming...

Maybe they'll put all those detainees from Gitmo whose civil rights we are so concerned with at these new camps.

er n\m I forgot... they're not US citizens so they get more civil rights than real citizens.

Well, everyone complained when FEMA, which was not designed to be a response agency or replace local emergency responders, did not fix the mess the complete idiots in Louisiana never prepared for. So you get what you wanted. Because Nagin was a moron. And they reelected him. Because they are morons.

So we're getting increased federal powers.

But the reality is local emergency responders will not be able to deal with a large terrorist attack. We already have military personnell within the country. They are called National Guard. If you want them to take up that role, you will have to--gasp--pay for it.

Hard to believe, but the vast majority of the people training to deal with large emergencies are not wearing jack boots. I've been in the sinister thrall of FEMA supported training.

January 22, 2009. Congress is passing legislation "National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645" to "direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers on military installations."

What the H are they preparing for? Federal control of digital television. Over 20,000 uniformed military to be deployed into the US. A court ruling that declares warrantless wiretaps perfectly legal. Compulsory military for our children. And now this?

And all within the past 6 months... if that. Again, jiminy christmas.
compulsory military for children?
