TeresaBenedicta
My university is in lock-down for the second time today. Earlier this morning we went into lock-down because there was a shot fired into one of our dorm buildings. It was determined that it was a stray bullet from up on the mountain. Just twenty minutes ago we went into lock-down again. 13 shots were fired near our athletics center, where we are currently hosting a relay for life. Nobody has been injured. Please pray for us. Selah
I hate it when stuff like this happens. I'm sending St. Francis ahead to keep an eye on you guys. And you have my prayers, of course. Stay safe!
cmotherofpirl
I always thought sitting on the floor and playing cards a safe activity on these occasions.

CatherineM
We used to sleep in the bathtub when stray bullets were about. Prayers and stay safe.
TeresaBenedicta
Shots were confirmed, we're still in lock-down. Everyone still appears to be safe and sound. Thanks for the prayers, please keep them coming. Pray especially to Our Blessed Mother, we're on her mountain, she'll take care of us.

cmotherofpirl
We could use a bit of a shout out to Himself tonight as well, there are gangs out roaming and causing mischief, and the ambulance drivers are calling in for police protection. This always happens the first night the temps go about freezing and kids get frisky. Grrrrrrrrr!
