I think I will give up naps, which I have begun to take frequently and don't necessarily need-- I just happen to love sleeping. Daily mortifications, where I will chose against something that I want to do (for example, if I'm craving a certain item for lunch, I will instead get something plainer that I don't necessarily want). I might make the daily mortifications more concrete, but I'm not sure how to as of yet. I'm also going to be more silent in conversations, not giving my opinion on matters unless it's explicitly asked. I haven't decided on what I'll be doing for prayer and almsgiving. I have a fairly consistent prayer life, so I don't think there's a need for an 'increase' in amount of prayer. I may want to find a theme for meditation or work on something particular in prayer-- I'll have to ask my s/d his opinion on that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
