bonkers
Wow, you're even more cynical than I was a page or two ago. So this girl's 'opinion' is no more valid than any other 12-year old's, despite the fact that she can argue her 'opinion' far and away more succinctly and convincingly than most people twice her age? Judge her on what she says, not her age. That's called a 'logical fallacy', you know. Probably some type of ad hominem, but I wouldn't know, not being an adult and all.
I don't think its' her opinion. I think her mummy and daddy wrote it for her, or at least contributed to a large part of it. She just gets extra brownie points cos she's a cutie. That's actually sort of blatantly obvious. Otherwise it's libel. When taken to the extreme, of course.
eagle_eye222001
Oh how sweet. A little girl without any life experience commenting on an issue she knows nothing about other than what her parents have spoonfed her since she was an infant. She has good style though.
Would you be saying the same thing if she was on the other side of the issue? 12 years is more life experience than you think. She spoke pretty confidently...
Not this girl, no doubt her parents protect her from the harsh realities of this world. I wouldn't be surprised if her parents wrote the speech for her, and are trying to gain notoriety for her success. The whole things smacks of fakery anyway, where's the tears and genuine emotion? Can't you tell she's acting? I respect this little girls right to an opinion, but I don't think it's any more valid than any other 12 year old no matter which side of the fence they sit on.
She is not acting. You can tell when kids make stuff up.....she wasn't. You are being unfair and assuming. Validity of opinion comes down to age? I think her presentation sounds too genuine to be faked and parental forced. ---------------- Listening to: Green Day - Working Class Hero via FoxyTunes
Starlightdreamer
I think this girl is very brave and is to be commended. At least she had the guts to speak out and stand up for her convictions.

Kids are so stupid. Even most older atheists and pro-choicers annoy me. What about if this little girl spoke out on behalf of women's right to choices, do you think you would be praising her speech then?
She is not acting. You can tell when kids make stuff up.....she wasn't. You are being unfair and assuming. Validity of opinion comes down to age?
No, I recognise she is only 12 and unlikely to form any opinions independently of her parents influence.
You think it was faked and rigged...why? What reason do you have to think this way I think her presentation sounds too genuine to be faked and parental forced.?
Don't think it was faked and rigged just well rehearsed and her parents coached her well. The slicing and dicing of live human beings should elicit that reaction from anyone. Ask a nurse who has to put the pieces back together to make sure the butcher didn't miss any. If we told the truth from the beginning and didn't hide it thru obsfucation of terms - blob of tissue - simple termination etc - fewer people would have the guts to murder their children.
