Sparky
I finally made my own rosary out of sterling wire. It has 6mm round red tigereye, and a rosebud sterling crucifix and center. I'll try to post some pics later.

HisChildForever
My first rosary was a pink plastic one (the beads look like roses) my Nana gave me when I was little. My second rosary was a bit more "sophisticated" - my First Holy Communion rosary. I have maybe two or three of those rosaries you randomly get in the mail. My friend Adam recently gave me a "ladder" rosary as a gift. I have a rosary ring that is identical to the one pictured in that above post. One of my CCD teachers from back in the day gave them to our class.
Giolla
I have several Rosaries. But I have four favorites. One is an Irish Penal Rosary which is a single decade rosary with a finger ring. I love because its heritage for me Another is my personal rosary which is made from cherry wood and its from South America one is an Irish Rosary with shamrock beads, Celtic crucifix, Jesus and Mary center. I like it because my Mom got it for me. last one is just a simple wood and rope rosary. It means the most because it was my Grandfathers and it NEVER leaves my room. doe-jo
I made my own. It has black wooden beads, St. Thomas Aquinas medals, St. Benedict crucifix and leather string/rope/whatever it is called but it doesn't have a center piece.
Lounge Daddy
Mine is wooden, from Medjugorje; and it was a gift from a Phatmasser shortly before the time I actually quit drinking. It helped "break the spell" so-to-speak, so I always have it on me.
lost_in_this_world
i have a few rosaries one is a child's one that is white and i got it for my first communion. our priests at the time got 30 of the blessed by John Paul II when he was in italy and gave them to us for our first communion. The i asked for one for my 18th birthday and my mom got me one with pink almost pearl like beads with madonna and child and white Our Father beads. The i have a black on that i believe is my brothers because i know he had one and all of a sudden it showed up in my bedroom. hes not into religion and i think he gave it to me cuz he didnt want it and didnt want to throw it out. i know its his even though he claims it isnt. i have a bunch of the plastic ones and keep one in my purse. then a guy i lived with while on an internship gave me a wooden one his mom brought back from italy. this one is blessed by Pope Benedict 16th. im trying to get one blessed by every pop in my lifetime. so yeah that pretty much sums up my collection. no pics sorry
CatherineM
I do love making rosaries. I like looking for unusual beads and centers. I make one for every one of my RCIA students. I try to match the bead to their personality. A couple of years ago, I had a fiery red head who had a bachelors in fine arts, and I did hers in venetian glass. I use a lot of Job's tears beads. That's what JPII and Mother Theresa's rosaries were made out of. Her order grows the plants that the beads come off of. Jasper and tiger's eye make pretty ones too. I think everyone should have one that really means something to them. They are more likely to take care of it, and use it.
Hassan
I dug my old one out, I actually had forgotten I had it. Luigi
I pray the rosary, but I don't own one. I count on my fingers.
Piccoli Fiori JMJ
I have several Rosaries, put I tend to misplace them on occasion, but I always know where one or two are! I lost my first communion Rosary years ago and I have a few others either in my house or with someone else. If I have some time, I will see about getting some pictures of the ones I can find. I keep one in my coat pocket (its a wooden bead cord Rosary from Medjugorje that I got at our Parish's rummage sale some years ago)

AccountDeleted
my favourite rosary is a light pink plastic one. I think it was my first one. then i have a white glow in the dark rosary ring (and regular rosary) that i keep in my purse. And currently I'm crosheting a rosary for a friend. it's my first attempt...
If you have a pattern for the crocheted rosary, I would love a copy! I crochet very simple things, but I can follow a pattern...... I have a bad habit of breaking rosaries (especially when I wore them at my waist in the convent - they would catch on things) so the present one I have I especially picked out for the strength of the double metal links between beads - but it still broke on me! And I lost several of the black wooden beads, so I had to buy some black plastic ones to replace the ones I lost. Fortunately they were all at the beginning where the Crucifix is, so I could mend it with twine and these plastic beads. I am very sad about that because it doesn't have quite the same feel anymore, and I loved the feel of the wooden beads sliding through my fingers, and the metal in between. Oh well. I also have some cheaper colored bead rosaries, one I put in the car, and I also like to keep spares because I have met people who want to learn how to pray the rosary but don't know how or don't have one, so I teach them, and give them one of mine. The idea of a crocheted one means that maybe I wouldn't break it The other thing that might work for me is one of those large Dominican style rosaries, but made with cord instead of metal?? Right now, since I am not in the convent, I am keeping my rosary in a little case instead of wearing it at my waist, so it should last a lot longer! Old_Joe
I made this one myself: The Hail Mary beads are olive wood and the Our Father beads are walnut. The center medal is of St. Joseph of Cupertino, my confirmation saint.
