IcePrincessKRS
I posted some time ago about my brother in law's cousin and her baby---when she was just a few months old they found out that the baby had an inoperable brain tumor. By a small miracle some doctors at St. Jude's decided to take on her case and try their best for her. Unfortunately in the long run the treatment was not successful, but it DID give Vivi's mom and dad several more months in her precious company. (Another unfortunate event in this story is that Vivienne would be their only child--unless they choose to adopt in the future--because after she was born her mom had to have an emergency hysterectomy.) Vivienne had been in hospice care for awhile now, and on Feb. 17th this was posted on the blog her mother had been keeping as a journal to remember their time with her. Please remember this family in your prayers as they cope with the loss of their little Bunny (one of their nicknames for her). They knew it was coming but the loss is still painful.
An Angel Vivienne, satisfied her instructions were in place and her parents were well-shown what strength and love really look like, went to Heaven last night. It looks like Jesus came for her in her sleep, she looks as comfy and snug as ever, with no sign she had even a moment's fear (she never did - birth, life, death) or anxiety. We love Vivienne very much, never more so than now.
