Guest
This network needs something bad to happen to it. There are more and more programs on there preaching the rapture and other croutons. There preaching another Jesus and are misleading alot of souls. At one point is enough enough ? Would it ever be ok to start "attacking" this network because of all the harm it is doing ? Don't ask me what I mean by attack because i'm not quite sure. But should some stakes and unleaded be gathered up ? Ok I hope it wouldnt lead to that but then again there are some real false teachers on the network. And I know of at least one or two heretics. Any thoughts ? Edited February 20, 2009 by Guest

tinytherese
EWTN is a far better alternative. It converted me from being a luke-warm catholic to a devout one.

So around 8 am when I was going to sleep I turn tbn on and I am greeted with Dr. Creflo Dollar talking about how we are going to be blessed abudently right before the rapture takes place. And then the other day Pastor John Hagee is on there talking about how the rapture could happen in the next 3 months. It's just crazy stuff and it's going to pull catholics who arent sure what to believe away from the church if they hear this stuff. Because it sounds good. That's all I used to watch and there is some good quality stuff on there. But there is alot of dangerous stuff to.

Seven77
we can't wish something bad on TBN...there may be errors taught but truth comes through in kernals. TBN can plant seeds. TBN's better than nothing b/c if it introduces Christ to someone it's a start in the right direction--right?
CatherineM
We get Vision here, and CTS which is kind of a Canadian version of TBN, but not as Tammy Faye.

Guest
so what about all the programs on there preaching the rapture ? it's an ovious false teaching. yet they still flood the channel with it. then you have the once saved always saved concept they are in love with. Saint Therese
Plus, once on TBN, Mrs Crouch told a story about how she resurrected her chicken. I mean, you can't make that stuff up and it is just too funny.
Guest
The problem with Tbn is this : They dont deal with sin. You watch it long enough you start to believe being a christain is dressing very well, never cussing, and not drinking. There is nothen wrong with this but that is a false idea of what it is to be a christian. Where is the eucharist ? Where is the confession of sins esspially when they become mortal sins. On tbn there is not that reality. It's easy you accept Jesus in your heart and you're saved forever. That is why I have come to resent tbn. They leave the believer there stranded hearing alot'a vain words from alota superpreachers. Im not saying that there are not men of God on the network. But when you present yourself as if you are the "church" and not present the eucharist or confession you're leaving alot of people confused and quite possibly lost in their sin.
