[/quote] It's not cheating. Sundays are never part of lent. Get your calendar out, and count the days from Ash Wednesday to Easter, and you will understand what I mean. As someone whose birthday falls in Lent 90% of the time, I had most of my birthday parties growing up on Sundays before or after. Last year it fell the day after Easter, so I actually got to have my birthday party on my birthday for the first time in a long time. Sundays are always to be days of celebration. icelandic_iceskater Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 in my fam we have 3-4 birthdays in lent. we always celebrate them on their actual days, unless they fall on Ash Wednesday or the during the Tridium.
