You'll find them more pleasant than Southern Florida in summer. Probably just as wet, but at least it won't rain horizontally at you at 100 mph in the Pacific Northwest.

You do know that Mt. Rushmore isn't in Colorado or Wyoming. Just checking. Where I come from musicians/singers are bad at geography because they were always scheduled at the same time, and you had to pick one or the other.
Of course I recommend Texas. But only if you have a tolerance for the heat. And I mean HEAT.
Am from Alabama (where it's humid therefore feels hotter than texas. Heat indexes of 120+ are not unheard of) and I live in South Florida. I think I got the heat thing, down ;)
Work at Staples.

Tell them I referred you; I get extra money. ;)

I'll give you my name if you're interested. :))

Hehe.
No staples within 70 miles.
Transportation is an issue.
No lisence.

TOTALLY do Alaska... TOTALLY. It is amazing in the summer. I might be spending the summer in Wisconsin with my girlfriend.... and the one thing that makes me not want to is missing summer back home in Alaska.

Go to Montana. Colorado's too crowded, Wyoming's too volcanic, Alaska's too far, the Dakota's are uber-lame, and Texas doesn't have enough mountains.

Most of these places look like border states. I wonder why? :P
