Life Support

So one of my friends had to leave school for a week or so because her mom who has breast cancer now is hooked on a respirator on life support. She expects the worst to happen. Please pray for her and her family and that they make wise decisions regarding both her mom and my friend. They give off this vibe of not wanting her to even be in college in the first place and not being around when her mom is sick only adds to it. Her mom in the past made her feel guilty for being away at school when she was sick saying that she could have been there taking care of her. Her family doesn't make that much money, live in the ghettoe, and her parents are illiterate. She is the first one to even go to college. They don't seem to want her to have a better life than them. Some of my friends and I are concerned that she might not come back to school. My friend has bulemia, goes out to get drunk, and may even have depression and this situation doesn't help. We are supposed to go on a school trip the first week of spring break to Italy and she may not feel like een going. Man if her mother really does die during the time that she is away before spring break boy would going to an Italy trip not be the right medicine for morning.
