What format or style of writting?

First person?

You want us to tell our personal stories in relation to specific topics in-line with chapter dispersions of sorts?

Give up the grub here.

For the title I suggest:

a T-Shirt story
A didacus.corp approved production, 'cause we're still trying to take over the world.

Can we have an example of expectations and subjects?

I'd like to do something, but I don't know where to start or what to head towards.

Exactly! First person is good but not mandatory.

As for specific topic? check your inbox - sent you a link of something we're looking for. We have some people contributing reflections on the following:

Their Conversion to the Catholic Church and the reasons why (what did it for them)
The ministry of Motherhood/Fatherhood
Their personal journey in Discernment
Premise is pretty basic right now.

Along the lines of an anthology of voices from Catholic Youth/Young Adults living their faith in today's environment. Idea is that it will serve as an inspiration to fellow Catholics, an invitation to those that are interested in the Catholic faith and a response to those that are anti-Catholic.

Wow you may say - that's a big task to undertake. It is - and it isn't. This is where you come in. Now, if my memory serves me correctly (and it fails from time to time because of age) there are many people on the Phorum who have great personal stories - many are great poets/writers.

We're looking for stories (non-fiction preferred), poems, short essays - shoot drawings even that express you as a Catholic living in today's world. (eg: Being Catholic and Discerning your calling, Being Catholic dealing with the Church's teachings on contraception, How you developed your prayer life).

The book itself will not be heavy on theology (this is not to say that it won't include theology of course, how can we avoid it?) But keeping in mind that it's for the average joe/jane to pick up and read, the stories should be personal, reflective and as authentic and possible. Here is your opportunity to share with the world your Faith, your growth and your relationship with Jesus through His Church.

Interested but feel like you're not really a writer? Draw/paint/photograph something. Not talented in that department either? Fair enough, I'll need people for proofing and all that good stuff.

The book is in its infancy and I want the writers to have as much input in the direction of the book as possible - where possible. So if you're interested, feel free to start writing and submit something. If you're stuck on a topic - email me at publishing@phatmass.com and I can send you a topic.

Any questions? feel free to ask - no worries. Any suggestions? feel free to share.
sorry! I just read this. Just totally ignore my PM.

I'm gonna do cakes. Catholic Cakes and photograph them.

I've already done a SOLT one and I plan on doing a St. Therese cake. Should be VERY awesome.

A little odd?

So I'll also submit more photography. Hope it doesn't all get denied. :smokey:

but phatmass IS about Cake, right?

Sorry KK, but it wasn't worth it. I knew her addiction would find you out sooner or later.
