Innocent
I heard about Bl. Alberione because the Pauline Family have a strong presence here in most Catholic bookstores. Here's his biography at the Vatican.va site. Today I found this blog where each day a bit of his writing is posted, and wanted to share it: http://loveofstpaul.blogspot.com/

Innocent
thank you for sharing this! Me and Bl. James Alberione go way back. He's a great friend!
If you don't mind, could you tell me which portions of his teaching have helped you specifically? I've read only one of his works, a short pamphlet called "Turn Your Weaknesses Into Strengths." What I liked most about it was his focus on identifying the Predominant Fault and combating it. Another thing I'm grateful to him for is the emphasis of the practice of the Examination of the Conscience as very important for our conversion. I've been searching for more of his work ever since I read that little book. I hope the Pauline Family takes a leaf out of the Opus Dei's book and puts up their Founder's writings online. Or maybe they have done it somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it yet. I wish they'd put up his writings (or at least a limited portion) online. It would very much fit in with their charism of reaching out and spreading the Gospel through the communications media, after all!
