If You See Cars By The Side Of The Road

Don't call 911. If you can't tell whether or not it's an accident, it's because it isn't. And if it is, but you can't tell for sure at any speed below, say 140 MPH, it is not serious enough to require 911. Real accidents are messy, bloody and easily discernible from space. So keep your mom on the phone. If you're that concerned, then stop yourself.

Thank you.

And if you are turning left at a green light, GET OUT INTO THE INTERSECTION. Yes, I know the light might turn red while you are out there. That's why you wait until it is clear after red and complete your turn. You're never gonna turn if you have to wait for a big enough clearing in traffic for you to drive all the way out into the intersection before even beginning your turn. All you are gonna do is sit there like an idiot while the light turns yellow... then red... and you're still stagnant with your stupid little blinker blinking.. and blinking.. and blinking... Ugh. If you are unwilling to do this then keep driving until you come to a light with an arrow, because I am behind you and I HATE YOU!!!

You know what kills me? At one intersection in a nearby town there IS a green arrow, but neither of the two lanes is a left turn only, so there is ALWAYS that one jerk who is sitting there and NOT making the turn at the green arrow. Traffic coming from the other side is RIDICULOUS and if you miss that green arrow, you have NO HOPE of making a left turn when the light turns green, and SLIM hope that at least one car can make a quick left once the light goes red. People are hardcore, you usually see 4-5 cars making the left at the green arrow, even when it disappears they still turn.

And, if you are in a mall parking lot with 5 cars in the aisle behind you wanting to find spots, don't sit there like a moron waiting for some woman in a crappy parking spot who is apparently getting ready to leave her spot. Especially, don't wait while she clears snow off her car, buckles in her child, and slowly paints her fingernails with three coats of polish. In the 10 to 15 minutes you are waiting for the crappy spot she occupies, and forcing everyone behind you to wait, all of the people behind you could have found spots and gotten where they were going, without missing the start of the movie they went to see and being forced instead to watch "Fired Up."

No, I rolled up and down the freeway (wrong location given, to boot--completely opposite direction. So some goof roughly five lanes away called it in, probably) for a flat tire. It bothered be because both heavy apparatus went and then it got dropped on us again right after we went back in service. Really, the overwhelming majority of drivers don't call--it's the drama queens who do. So it's not really that bad.

The left turn thing is a pet peeve of mine, as well, DusT.

I saw a truck on the side of the road once that was left there for a week. I reported it to the police in case it was stolen...
