When I met my husband, I had this idea of Canada as being Vancouver north of Seattle, and everything else kind of north of upstate NY. I didn't really know where Alberta was. He told me north of Montana, and I just couldn't visualize it. This is the first time in my life that I have lived in a house without air conditioning. The doors and windows are like air locks on submarines. It is kind of nice to not spend 12 months of the year looking at people's belly buttons. I only have to see them in summer. I give you props, I couldn't live in a climate like that, I'd surely freeze to death, my body does not handle cold very well. Good news! My crocus' are coming up!
