I don't actually live on the Arctic Circle, it just feels like it at times. When I met my husband, I had this idea of Canada as being Vancouver north of Seattle, and everything else kind of north of upstate NY. I didn't really know where Alberta was. He told me north of Montana, and I just couldn't visualize it. This is the first time in my life that I have lived in a house without air conditioning. The doors and windows are like air locks on submarines.

It is kind of nice to not spend 12 months of the year looking at people's belly buttons. I only have to see them in summer. Dressing modestly is much more common when everyone is wearing 3 layers.

Last year, it snowed in Georgia while the sun was shining and there were no clouds.

HAHA thats hilarious! I give you props, I couldn't live in a climate like that, I'd surely freeze to death, my body does not handle cold very well.

Good news! My crocus' are coming up! They are such cute little spring flowers. :)

I called the MD at 10am, they called me back at 11:08am and my appointment was 11:15am, and I got seen at 11:30am . How is that for amazing time. Verdict I got a sinus infection - and thats not even a bad thing cause its almost gone anyway.

that is quite amazing! i'm on weekly appointments now, i usually get there 15-20 minutes before my scheduled appointment, finally get in 15-20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, and see the doc another 20 minutes after that.

btw, i have an appointment today in just a little bit! :yahoo:
