No, seriously have you tried to discipline it. :detective:

Why is everyone so mean to cats? I find that those who have never owned one tend to say they "hate" them...usually because of one poor experience.

It's always nice when insults based on intelligence are misspelled.

My roomate has two cats and I didn't knwo I DIDN'T like them until I lived with them. I love most animals and cats look cute in pictures (and when I only have to see them for a few minutes) so I thought everything would be fine.

It turns out they are dirty, worthless creatures. They don't have any boundaries and make the most terrible noises in the middle of the night. OH... and it peed in my show once for no acceptable reason.

Haha ok thats all. Good luck with your cat. I recommend the SPCA. =0)

Cats are territorial, which is why one of them peed in your shoe. (She has two cats, I bet it was the dominate cat that did this.) Do you know why cats constantly rub on furniture? Because they are "marking" it with their scent. Your shoe does not smell like "their" house, it was a completely foreign object, which is why it was urinated on. Furthermore, you yourself were a complete stranger, so they are not going to immediately cuddle up to you. Whenever we have extended family members over my cats turn and run, not to be seen until the company is gone.

If the cat is meowing during the night, they want food or maybe they were locked in a room and want out. None of my cats (I have had six total my whole life, not all at once/the same time) have ever howled for no reason during the night. In fact I cannot recall them howling ever.

Not sure what you mean by "boundaries." You can most certainly teach cats where they can and can not go! Back in high school my then-boyfriend and his parents went on vacation for a few days and I went over there twice a day to feed their cat. My boyfriend had mentioned that they had very strict rules for their cat and they trained it to stay off tables and counters. I was ASTONISHED when, while pouring the food, the cat - while circling around and meowing at me - never once made the move to jump up, something my cats have always done. It CAN be done, you CAN train cats.

It is also a bit far-fetched for you to label all cats as "dirty, worthless creatures" after a perceived bad experience with just two cats. I have never had a dog before. I have only had brief encounters with dogs, some nice and some not so nice - does this mean I am afraid of all dogs, or I hate them? No, of course not, that would be ridiculous.

If you think cats are dirty, I am really curious what your opinion is on dogs - they do not clean themselves like cats, they run around in grass/puddles/mud, and they constantly try to lick you. Would you consider them dirty as well?
Cats are [s]territorial[/s]evil, which is why one of them [s]peed in your shoe[/s]ate your brother. Whenever we have extended family members over my cats [s]turn and run, not to be seen until the company is gone[/s]plot their doom.

If the cat is meowing during the night, they want [s]food[/s]to deny you sleep. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture.

It is also [s]a bit far-fetched [/s]so very preceptive for you to label all cats as "dirty, worthless creatures".
