We are SPOILED by the orthodoxy of America. We think it is so bad here - and in patches it is - but whereas abuses and laxity of doctrine is pretty much routine in even more secularized countries, American Catholics have it pretty good.

...I can't believe that a cardinal lets that fly in his presence, however. The Holy Father must be out of his mind with stress over the want to go medieval on the Church!
