Aloysius
When a priest who lived with a concubine was pointed out to St. Francis, asked what to do about he told them to go, kneel, and kiss the hands of the priest, the hands the brought Christ into the world. In any event, the Church in Austria is one of the furthest lost in Christendom at the moment. It is places like this that must've inspired Pope Benedict XVI to, according to +Fellay, say that he very much understood the perceived 'state of emergency' in the Church which the SSPX uses to justify its irregular canonical status. Mari Therese
The most responsible thing to do would be for the priest to begin getting laicized, before he decided to pull this stunt.

Since no one is telling him apparently that he has to choose, he probably won't give up his mistress or his collar.

It's not really fair to say that there's a lack of intervention. Maybe his superiors don't love the attention as much as he does.
