Lil Red
+J.M.J.+ even in winter, you can still walk outside everyday. bundle up. plus the sweat will help you loose weight. i've been walking a mile and a half about 5 times a week since i got pregnant, and i feel really good actually. plus, i walk with a friend, helps pass the time and keeps me accountable. (that's a good tip, btw)

And the only way for a lifestyle change is for you to LIKE what youre doing. I still gotta find something that sticks.

Keep your fingers straight and turn the inside of your wrist towards your body. Place your thumb and index finger on the two prominent bones on either side of your elbow, then measure the distance between the bones with a tape measure or calipers. Compare to the chart below. The chart lists elbow measurements for a medium frame - if your elbow measurement for that particular height is less than the number of inches listed, you are a small frame - if your elbow measurement for that particular height is more than the number of inches listed, your are a large frame. Elbow Measurements for Medium Frame Men Elbow Measurement Women Elbow Measurement 5'2" - 5'3" 2-1/2" to 2-7/8" 4'10"-4'11" 2-1/4" to 2-1/2" 5'4" - 5'7" 2-5/8" to 2-7/8" 5'0" - 5'3" 2-1/4" to 2-1/2" 5'8" - 5'11" 2-3/4" to 3" 5'4" - 5'7" 2-3/8" to 2-5/8" 6'0" - 6'3" 2-3/4" to 3-1/8" 5/8" - 5'11" 2-3/8" to 2-5/8" 6'4" 2-7/8" to 3-1/4" 6'0" 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm
Just a little fyi, the chart does not account for muscle mass on a man or women. So if you actually have muscle then the chart is wrong fro you since muscle weighs more than fat and guys and gals who are actually in great shape and just very muscular come off as overweight according to the scale.
Its too hard to walk with friends because our schedules are all different. School and work are hard to balance between people in order to find free time for a walk. But I went on a walk with my dog today and it was very nice! I didnt wear my jacket and there were lots of people out too to say Hello to! It was very nice! But because the snow is melting so much, it makes the ground really muddy. So I had to give my dog two baths when we got back. But it was a very nice walk!
