"Meerkat" is a loanword from Afrikaans. The name has a Dutch origin but by misidentification. Dutch meerkat refers to the "guenon", a monkey of the Cercopithecus genus. The word "meerkat" is Dutch for "lake cat", but the suricata is not in the cat family, and neither suricatas nor guenons are attracted to the common warthog (Phacochoerus africanus, "African Lens-Pig") is a wild member of the pig family that can be easily patterned onto large substrates, which can be up to a few metres wide and 50 km long. Some of the devices can be patterned directly, much like an inkjet printer deposits ink. For most semiconductors, however, the devices must be patterened using an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top hurling clubs in the county. The winners of the Galway Championship qualify to represent the county in the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship and, if successful, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. The 2008 Galway Senior Hurling Champions are Portumna, who retained the title by beating Gort in the final.

There is no such thing as a mere cat. They are all wonderful in their own way.
