tinytherese
You know what's really crazy that happened at my school last year? One of my suitemates was talking with some other girls at the receptionist desk past midnight on a friday night (or technically saturday morning) and the hall director whose apartment was right across from the receptionist's desk was having sex with her boyfriend. They actually heard them in there and my suitemate got freaked out by it and screamed, which spooked my hall director and her boyfriend and it got quiet. Shortly after this incident, I came down to use the computer lab on that floor and apparentally I had just missed it. Thank goodness! My suitemate told me about it sometime later. MissyP89
I am personally looking forward to awkward, embarrassing yet passionate honeymoon sex. Where's the fun in the honeymoon if you experience it all beforehand? It might as well be just another night. Therese, write to your college paper's Editor-in-Chief. Student reporters are usually going crazy looking for leads on new stories, so I'd say you have a pretty good shot at it. (If it were my college paper, I'd print it for sure. )

tinytherese
On monday one of my suitemates told this one story about her her older sister randomly asked her if she had had sex before and she said no and that she was going to wait until marriage. (What a relief! At least its not just me and one other suitemate and I!) Then she said that her sister recommended to her that she do it. She admitted that she did it a week before her wedding just to see what it would feel like. She wanted it to be just right for her wedding night. My suitemate said that it was very awkward and saw where she was coming from but was going to wait. My other suitemates chimed in. One of them said that her sister was right. That you should have sex with someone before you marry them because you don't want to have an unhappy marriage. I didn't see the point in doing that, so I stepped in and said that in marriage that you have the rest of your lives to learn how to please each other. She and one of my other suitemates disagreed though, saying that not sexually satisfying each other in the bedroom can cause people to divorce.
I read 1 Cor. 13 and this doesn't seem to match up with the belief that if you'll be miserable with each other if you don't get it perfect on the first try. Love is so much deeper than that.
