jon2004
I really have been wanting to share this story (I've been lurking the boards for a couple of months before getting on). Any one in Florida knows Nombre de Dios (http://www.missionandshrine.org/) or they should, it's great. Well coming from a really serious Presbyterian background and working with that in St. Augustsine the shrine has a special place in my heart, even more now. My wife, who is un baptised and was not a christian, decided to go with a me and a buddy down to the shrine one day. We lit some candles and then went to sit in the chapel to adore the Eucharist. My friend and I went up a few pews to pray a divine mercy chaplet and I just felt something near the end. I turned around and saw my wife on her knees in the pew holding my old rosary and flat out weeping in the presence of our Lord. She told me later that she just felt the flood gates open and realized it was time to listen to God. The affect on her has been wonderful, she demanded we go to the gift shop and buy her a bible, which she has been reading daily, and she goes to the Mary Queen of the Universe shrine at least once a week to be with Christ. I dont have to drag her along any more. It's great to see this in front of me and was wondering if anyone else had some stories about how awesome the Eucharist is. Saint Therese
When I made my aspirancy, more than once I would have a deep peace fill my soul when I entered the choir. Jesus is awesome!

Saint Therese
I had a spiritual attack while I was there. Not too long before it was my time to leave it became intense. I couldn't pray and didn't want to. I didn't even want to attend Mass, but did. During Holy Communion ( I wasn't even praying) I suddenly felt peace fill my soul; it lasted for the rest of my time there.
