Theologian in Training
Well, I have to say I am convinced half the world is on facebook. Even the Pope is there! I have had constant friend requests from people I have not heard from in years (yes, years, despite my age) and more requests keep coming. It's funny though, because though people request friendship I find you barely talk to them, you just get a glimpse into their world. Kind of interesting and, of course, a bit creepy all at the same time. And, Missy and BG were the ones who tagged me. I guess they wanted me to read BG's reflection on Holy Thursday. Oh, and I find it helpful to integrate my blog into my profile. It helps get it some publicity. I rarely get comments, but I do know a lot of people are reading it....well, at least I think there are. I am still so confused with all these things on facebook. While I am getting most, I am still not getting all. Do like the fact though that I can import my photos directly from iPhoto, after importing them from my iPhone to facebook.

zunshynn
Haha! Are you addicted Father? I was amazed by facebook... I'd started one in high school but never used it. Then I got back on it after I got back from OLAM to catch up with friends from high school and actually, to stay in touch with people I knew from the monastery (not sisters, lol... they obviously don't use it... haha.) I do need to spend less time on it though. It's like I just spend all this time waiting for something to happen. I do like that you can do so much in one place... One thing that IS nice about the way they do advertisements, is even if you get a bad one, you can give it a thumbs down and tell them its offensive. Then you don't get them anymore. Do they really own your pictures though?

[/quote] Not as addicted as others Usually, if I am spending a lot of time on it, it is usually because I am talking to someone or playing a game, otherwise, I check it on occasion, not multiple times a day, like some. So, I wouldn't say I am fully addicted....yet
