What Is Lame

i go on the forums and people say its lame, i think of lame as:
something not worth responding too
something when you look at it you shake your head in disappointment
something that is not fun or funny

so if people are having fun and/ or laugh at a post can it really be called lame

this is some of the conversations that come up when talking to SMM
can anyone verify the meaning of lame

Lame 1. adj.-possessed of the inability to walk, possibly without support. 2 n.-a person or persons who is lame.

that was a lame answer i want to know what lame is not how to use it in a sentience and i don't mean lame as in crippled

i still have no answer to the question What is lame
can the answer unlock the secrets of the world or will it just make for a messed up conversation in both cases everybody wins
