Moosey
...and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things. Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels, door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles. Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings. these are a few of my favorite things. Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes, silver white winters that melt into springs, these are a few of my favorite things. When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad! P.S. My mom played Maria in her high school production of Sound of Music. On a similar note... Saint Therese
Good! I don't have enough friends. My favorite part is when Rev. Mother sings "Climb Every Mountain".
Moosey
Word. My mother's mentor and voice teacher played that part in the play my mom was the lead. Pretty awesome. I really like "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" I can relate. Edited April 13, 2009 by Moosey
CatherineM
I played the oldest nun, the oldest daughter, and the lead. I kept signing up for it because I have a hard time remembering my lines, and thought that if I got the same part, I wouldn't have anything new to learn. Didn't work out that way. Saint Therese
I also really like the scene of Maria walking down the aisle in her wedding dress. So beautiful! The nuns have great outfits too.
Moosey
Totally. There's a picture of my mother in her yearbook wearing a habit in the play. She looked stunning. I always tell her, "Mum, you look really good in a habit. Maybe you missed your calling!"
