Saint Therese
I agree! Especially for Dominicans, since their habit is white. So you're from Maine? Is it still cold there?

It's actually on my list of favourite movies. This is the list I actually have on Facebook: The Exorcist, Angela's Ashes, Star Wars Original Trilogy, Sound of Music, The Illusionist, Harry Potter series, Minority Report, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, James Bond franchise, Indiana Jones series, The Sixth Sense. CatherineM
I like disaster movies. I'm sure there's something Freudian in that.

As an example, when the mom goes to visit the priest for the first time, she says that she thinks her daughter killed the director. It doesn't make sense. In the original, it would have made more sense to believe that he was drunk and fell. In the director's cut, right after she finds out he is dead, they see her daughter walking up and down the stairs on her back, kind of crab style, and growling. That makes the next scene make more sense. They also cut out some private discussions between the old priest and the young one, that put more theology into what they are doing. I understand they cut the crab walk simply because it was so scary, but the other stuff, I'll bet they cut because it was too Catholic. Did you know that the young priest was Jackie Gleason's son-in-law, and his son is Jason Patric? He also won a Pulitzer Prize for his play "The Championship Season." The first one I saw was the one with the spiderwalk scene and the blood coming out of her mouth. The better version which I saw on YouTube has her also chasing her mom with a forked snake tongue. The version I got for my birthday completely got rid of that scene though.
