All the other things, i.e., the agape meal, eating the antidoron, etc., should be cleared by talking to the Orthodox priest or some other representative of the parish. Some Orthodox Churches allow everyone to take and eat the antidoron, while others do not. It's sort of a sacramental, eh? But I guess we gotta tread lightly with our Orthodox brethren, so do as they say. Aloysius Posted April 14, 2009 Author Share Posted April 14, 2009 yes with the Eastern Catholics there is no question; with the Eastern Orthodox it's a question of whether the specific Church allows it. however, I am not sure this agape meal has anything to do with the antidoron... the antidoron I believe can be offered even to non-Christians potentially... well, maybe they'd have to be in the process of converting...
