Era Might
What's the Alamo? I've heard of it, but other than the phrase "Remember the Alamo," I have no idea what the Alamo is.

dominicansoul
a fairly decent depiction of the politics behind the Alamo and what really happened there is the movie, "One Man's Hero." I don't consider many of those who died fighting at the Alamo "heroes." All the history that was shoved down our throats in Texas elementary schools is mere fantasy. When you research the political climate, the hatred and the racism behind most of the battles for "liberty," you find there to be only one main reason: conquest for land regardless of the circumstances. Most of the Texas "heroes" were Catholic-hating Masons who could care less for people of color. I don't consider their fight and conquest of Texas to be anything extraordinary... "Remember the Alamo was a Catholic mission" speaks volumes! I really like this slogan! Print them!!!
