Oddest Thing Found Inside A Computer....

Ok. I fix computers for fun. For free too if it is for a church, a non-profit, a kid, a seasoned citizen, a needy person, or a left-handed-irish-redhead lass with beer.


anyhoo...last week, my father in law asked me to take a look at the computer of his next door neighbor. He said it won;t start up. So I took it home. Sure enough, when I press the power button...nothihng. So I unplug it and start to tip it over to remove the cover and I hear a metallic rattle inside it.

I get the cover off and spy something wedged between the motherboard and the case. Something metallic with a few chain links attached. Obviously this is shorting the circuit and making it not boot up.

I pull it out and lo and behold........




it's a Miraculous Medal about an inch and a half long.




Computer powered up fine after that.






No idea what it was doing there or how it got there.

That was a hard fix.





A month or so ago, the family printer wouldn't work.

It wasn't plugged in to the computer.

Maybe Our Lady was saving his computer from something


Someone must have planted it there for some reason. you should have taped it to the siding of the case.

How many people can say Our Mother broke their computer?!

My Dad did get his calculator stuck in the printer once. Three inches into the machine, stuck in the rollers, because he was doing his tax forms at the computer. Legend.

I have friends who have put exorcised benedictine medals in their computers... I guess miraculous medals fit the same idea? For some who are struggling with internet purity they might consider it a miracle to ever be free?
