TradMom
+Praised be Jesus Christ! Alleluia! The President of Thomas Aquinas College in California (Santa Paula) was killed today in a car accident in Ireland. May Our Lord receive him into paradise. May all the angels and saints greet him as he begins his life anew in eternity. May Our Blessed Mother bring comfort, solace and healing to all those who will no doubt be in terrible shock and sadness over his sudden passing. TradMom
+Praised be Jesus Christ! Alleluia! Yes, sadly it is true. I can't imagine how truly sick and evil one would be to make up such a story. I am greatly distressed a suggestion was made that this information would NOT be true. I would never post something this important and painful if I did not know for certain. His wife was not killed, though she is in the hospital. She is expected to be released shortly. In my haste, I forgot to request prayers for the entire student body at TAC who will no doubt be shocked, stunned and saddened by this. Pax, TradMom[/quote] Tradmom, The poster was making an edit saying that the poster wasn't sure if the added information that s/he was adding was true. It was more saying, "I'm not sure if I have this right but his wife may have been in the car too" Wasn't questioning your information at all, so please don't take offense. I think you read the post in haste and missed something.

TradMom
+Praised be Jesus Christ! Alleluia! Dear Slappo, Thank you for pointing out to me that I responded in haste...it is often so difficult to read what one really "means." Very upsetting day for our family and Church, but no excuse for rudeness! Mea culpa. Forgive my haste, Christie_M, and thank you for your gentle correction made in charity, Slappo. littlesister
Yesterday morning Dr. Thomas Dillon, President of Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula CA, lost his life in an auto accident. Details are few, but it was on a main road south of Dublin. His wife was injured and is hospitalized but expected to recover. Dr. Dillon had been president of TAC for 18 years. The chapel, which was the crowning achievement of the campus and into whose construction he had put heart and soul, was just dedicated. Please pray for his family, staff, students... They are all in shock and mourning. The funeral will be on campus, but as yet there is no date or time. College representatives and family members are going over to accompany the body back and to be with Mrs. Dillon. Thanks in advance for the prayers and support. See the TAC website for updated information.
