tinytherese Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 In high school, after JPII died we learned about how the pope gets elected and my my teacher wanted some of us to play the role of cardinals. My teacher had the names of some of the biggest cardinal names that would probably be seriously considered for the office written on slips of paper and put it into a basket or whatever. He then told one of the guys pretending to be in charge of counting the votes to name them off. At one point he said that there were two names written on the slip of paper and one of them was MY NAME. I thought that it was absolutely hilarious and unexpected.
