missionseeker
well, I talked to her today. she was in a lot ofpain earlier and took some medicine that made her feel not herself. But she did say that they said that there is good chance everything will be ok. But she has a lot of people say "you have three other kids already that need a mom, think about them, too." She has. She does. If it comes down to it, it's her kid's life that she'd choose. I pray and hope that choice doesn't have to be made, though. Growing up is so strange. It used to be "someoneI know" that things would happen to. now it's "people I love"

missionseeker
THanks, also can you pray that she finds a doctor she's comfortable with? She said this one was rough, rude, didn't tell what he was doing, hurt her (I think it was a pap smear or something like one) and just made her generally uncomfortable. And of course recommends an abortion.

If not, I would recommend contacting the Pope Paul VI institute they can help recommend someone.

A Catholic doctor might be really good for her. She loves me, and some other kids but for the most part, thinks "these kids are strange" and doesn't really get it. so... idk. It's strange cuz I leave in two weeks and won't be back until September... What is the Institute? How does it work?

Their goal is to help give women other options other than the Pill or surgery or abortion. They can help people find good faithful doctors in their area to help them. CatholicWing
In prayers!!!!!!!
She's due in September. They wanted her to abort (of course) but that thought wouldn't even cross her mind. She has three kids already. Her husband and kids are in Mexico (this girl has one crazy life). She's 21 or 22. (She had her first baby when she 16, I think). She's not Catholic, I'm not even sure if she would describe herself as Christian, though I think she would. Her husband is Catholic, though. She talks about her kids a lot and was excited about this one. They said that it had spread uite a bit in the last month. Please pray for her, her baby, her kids, her husband, and her conversion. Thanks guys.
missionseeker
Mum's friend gave me the name of a Catholic (female, which is also a plus) obgyn here in Naples. But she is having an allergic reaction to some of the medicine today.

missionseeker
Thanks you guys! She is feeling and looking much better today! I get to be the Godmommy and tonight I'm gonna bring my computer to visit her at work and look up the status for the immigration papers for her husband and kids. She's so ready for them to be here. We were watching this one small boy get a root beer float (we work in the cafeteria [at a Catholic town, so there are always little kids], he started licking the bubbles off the top so that he could put and she started talking about how her kids would do something like that. So, prayers that what we find on the status is good news. Oh, and today she said something and said "I've got it bad enough from God. He's killin' me, man" She was completely joking kind of when she said it, like it was something she was laughing about. but then she said "you should take me to church" and I was like Yes, you SHOULD come with me. and she was like "dude, I was joking" but I think she might actually come to Church with me cuz I'm leaving so soon. so pray for that too! thanks guys!
